Message but my man is 100% right. I have seen many people run zs and they run what they expect to. everyone always says they should have a XXX z but only run a XXX and that is because most people CAN'T drive a 5-speed Z. it is a very hard car to drive and the only two people who I have ever seen do it well was Rich from Z tech and eddie bello who drove his 5speed to a 10.80 w/oNOS.

Even my car should be runnin 11.0s once I get my 60' down but its still a 11.9 car until I get my converter situation taken care of. But most people here even if they do get the hp will never get into the tens because they can't drive a z at the track.

even the supra in six speed aren't what they should be. It takes a lot of extra hp to be equal to an automatic. Lets look at aras car. he is making over 1000rwhp and is only running 9.90s, where as vinny ten is only around 900hp with his irs car and level ten tranny is running low nines.

lets face it, it takes a lot of extra hp and someone who can really drive to break into the tens, and most people here just can't do it.

: If I had a dollar for every time that I heard "so-and-so should be able to run XX.XX", I'd be a rich man. My opinion doesn't amount to much, I realize, but let's be serious. Cars are not ten-second cars until they produce the time slip. And big dyno numbers DO NOT translate to good timeslips.

: Drag racing is very much about the launch, and it takes a good setup and hard driving to launch a turbo car well. So I, for one, remain a skeptic of ALL of the cars mentioned here until they produce slips. Talk is cheap.

: I don't want to make anybody mad, but we need a dose of reality.
